Walking Dead and Beneath the Skin

Beneath the Skin by Adrian Phoenix was due today at the Library. I had to rush to finish it today. Why? Well I will tell you why. It was BORING! This book is the third book of the Makers Song series. The first two books are really good, they hold my interest throughout. This one...so bad. The whole book is basically two days of events with about five different POVs. I don't care about half the characters that get their own POV, to have this for the whole book was annoying. I had to push myself to get through it. I really like the story line, Dante's past and lineage. Heather and Von are great characters. I felt that this book didn't really go anywhere. Yes Heather and Dante became bond mates but that didn't happen until about 350 pages into it. I'm so happy that Dante finally saved Lucien. That was another part of the story I thought would never end. I hope the next one is better. I want more character development, more meat in the story. Last week I finished up Walking Dead by C.E. Murphy. Joanne is a good person but why is she so dumb? I don't get it. Four books into her series and she still is a bad Shaman. Every single book in this series Joanne spends in her garden. When is she going to get over herself, grow some balls and really start saving people? I want her and Morrison together so badly, why is this taking so long. There is not enough time spent on their developing their chemistry. They love each other but hardly interact in the books at all. I am definitely going to check Demon Hunts, but I'm doing so cautiously. I really hope for more, more saving, more Morrison. Less of Joanne floating in and out of realms and still not knowing what she is doing.
